Man… the Gridfall was such a junkheap when it first showed up. Mita, Cliff, and I got over there to set up an Airtram station, that way the rest of the gang could come help build up the district.
After the tram got up and runnin', we all got together to clear some paths through the district. Then we each took a section of the district and salvaged the wreckage that had floated in with the island. We used the scrap we collected to create the district's core infrastructure; the grindrails, kinetic energy pads, and streetlights.
I gotta admit, there's something nice about knowing that the district is made from the same stuff it showed up with. Kinda like it's kept its own spirit the whole time.
