In-Game Currencies
Loftia has two confirmed currencies from the beta playtest: Dew — the primary currency earned from selling crops, fish, and crafted items — and Sols, a community currency earned by completing Community Bins. Sols reset daily and require rare fish, dishes, or items to complete.
Dew (Beta-documented)
Primary soft currency (Closed Beta) — Dew is the everyday in-game money used in Closed Beta for seeds, shop purchases, island permits, and recipe cards. It appears as a blue teardrop icon in beta UI coverage.
The label 'Dew' is widely used in beta databases and player coverage — Qloud Games has not published a full official economy glossary at EA yet.

How to earn Dew
- Sell crops, cooked food, and materials at the neighborhood shipping container (instant payout in beta coverage — not next-day)
- Forage and salvage in field zones — smaller yields than farming/cooking loops per beta players
- Complete some quests and daily contribution tasks (exact Dew rewards beta est.*)
How to spend Dew
- Seeds at Hazel's Seed Shop
- Recipe cards at Jun's Recipes and Kun's Quick Bites (verified beta prices: 200 and 50 Dew for two cards)
- Island permits via Amani's office — full Dew tier tables on loftiacodex.com/permits (see Economy guide)
- Cosmetic/home upgrades such as floor plans and island skins in beta housing UI (prices beta est.*)
Blooms (Official + beta)
Community & adventure progression currency — Blooms reward cooperative world-building and restoration work. They tie into community projects, Ryder's zone missions, and some timed adventure objectives in beta.
Source: loftia.gg official site copy; TheGameOfNerds beta preview (Ryder missions → Blooms → community projects); community-projects-guide sources
How to earn Blooms
- Contribute materials to server-wide community projects (official loftia.gg copy)
- Complete Ryder restoration missions for natural zones (loftia.gg + TheGameOfNerds)
- Finish group adventure objectives before timers expire (beta coverage — payout rates beta est.*)
- Quest completion may also grant Blooms alongside other rewards (exact per-quest values use beta est.*)
How to spend Blooms
- Apply toward community project milestones that unlock resources, stories, and new islands (official loftia.gg)
- Support shared progression loops — full Bloom shop or exchange menu beta est.*
Sols (Beta-documented)
Community currency (Closed Beta) — Sols are earned by completing daily Community Bins — donation goals that reset each day and often require rare fish, cooked dishes, or hard-to-find items. Separate from Dew; used for community-facing progression loops in beta.
Source: Closed Beta playtest coverage; Qualbert beta preview; community bin mechanics in beta UI
How to earn Sols
- Fill daily Community Bins with donated items (rare fish, dishes, or materials per bin requirements)
- Community bin goals reset daily — plan harvests and cooking around bin requests
How to spend Sols
- Community bin and neighborhood contribution rewards (exact Sols shop or exchange menu beta est.*)
- Pairs with broader community project progression — see Community Projects guide
Core Economy Loops (Beta)
Shipping container sales
Beta players sell harvests and crafted goods at a neighborhood shipping container for Dew. Coverage describes instant payment on 'Ship it' — not an Animal Crossing-style next-morning mailbox.

Cook → sell loop
Multiple beta reviewers note cooked dishes outperform raw fish and scrap when converted to Dew. loftiacodex tracks sell prices on many recipes (often 45 Dew for common level-1 plates in beta records).

Island permits (Amani)
Amani manages island permits that cap energy stations, garden beds, processing stations, tree plots, trellises, and other placeables. loftiacodex.com/permits lists six categories with Dew costs per tier (e.g. garden-bed tier 3 → 7 beds for 2,000 Dew cumulative tier cost).

Community projects → Blooms
Official copy: contributing to shared builds unlocks new resources, hidden stories, and islands. Blooms reward participation; group play typically yields more per effort than solo.

Vendor shops (Dew sinks)
Named beta vendors — Hazel (seeds), Estella (furniture), Linda (fashion), Kun & Jun (food/recipe cards) — accept Dew for stock and recipe unlocks. Full catalogs beta est.*.

Real money vs in-game currency
Loftia is buy-to-play on Steam with optional cosmetic microtransactions only. Real-money purchases are separate from Dew and Blooms — see the monetization guide for official FAQ wording. Microtransactions guide →

What Is Still Unknown at EA
- Official Qloud Games confirmation of loftiacodex Dew values
- Seed, furniture, and clothing shop Dew catalogs
- Per-quest Bloom and Dew reward tables
- Bloom → unlock exchange rates
- Full Sols spend catalog and exchange rates at EA
- Crop and fish raw sell values (not in our imported codex food/material sell tables)
Economy Tips
- Permit Dew tables come from loftiacodex.com/permits — fan-made beta data, not an official Qloud Games price list. Verify tiers in-game at EA.
- Steam confirms quests, crafting, and community goals — but not specific Dew/Bloom exchange rates.
- Most loftiacodex food sell prices in our database are 45 Dew (69 of 70 recipes); Chocolate Cake sells for 60 Dew — see /recipes.
- Qualbert's beta notes suggest raw fish often sold for very little Dew compared to cooked plates — player observation, not codex data.
- Group community contributions reportedly earn more Blooms per effort than solo — official solo-play is still supported.
- Sols come from daily Community Bins — reset each day and often need rare fish or cooked dishes; stockpile before bin deadlines.
